The T-Five is rated to 300m and made from grade 5 titanium, yet its case is only 39mm across with a 45.5mm lug-to-lug, the same lug-to-lug as Trematic's 38mm Archivio Uno dress watch.
The name comes from Monte Beigua, which rises above the Ligurian coast in northern Italy and sits on one of the richest titanium reserves in Europe. Maris means "of the sea" in Latin, and T-Five stands for the grade 5 titanium. Trematic was founded in Switzerland in the early 1950s, closed in the 1980s during the quartz crisis, was revived in 2022, and launched the T-Five in November 2025.
The Marina has a turquoise dial with bezel markings to match, applied wedge-shaped markers and Trematic's own Arabic numerals. It is the brightest of the three colourways and the one that fits the name best.
The bezel is unidirectional with 120 clicks, a matte ceramic insert in a titanium ring and lume at every five minutes. Over the dial sits a domed sapphire with three layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides, the hexagonal crown screws down, and the solid caseback carries the Trematic logo in relief.
The movement is the La Joux-Perret G101, a Swiss automatic beating at 28,800 vph with 24 jewels. Its 68-hour power reserve carries it from Friday evening to Monday morning off the wrist.
It comes with two FKM rubber straps, a black hybrid strap with waterproof fabric bonded to its outer face and a titanium deployant clasp, and a turquoise tropic-style strap with a sandblasted pin buckle. Both run from 20mm at the lugs to 18mm at the buckle, with quick-release pins.
The hybrid strap is stiff near the lugs when new and takes a few days of wear before it follows the wrist. The case is also 13.8mm tall including the domed crystal, or 11.3mm without it, and on a 300m titanium diver I can live with both.
I am an authorised Trematic dealer, and this one is new and unworn, supplied direct by Trematic. It comes with Trematic's five-year warranty from the date of purchase, and the photos are of this exact watch.
Included: the watch on its black FKM hybrid strap, the turquoise tropic-style strap, the Trematic presentation box, the certificate of authenticity, the warranty card and the operating instructions.
