Six hundred metres. The Matic's spec sheet does the arguing: rated deeper than dive watches at ten times the money, from the company that built cases for Blancpain in the sixties. Sellita SW200-1 élaboré, enamelled bezel insert, domed sapphire, 44mm satin-blasted case with the crown at 4 o'clock so it never digs into the back of your hand. The satin black dial photographs blue under direct light — that's the dial, not the camera. At 16mm tall it wears like the tool it is, and the 51mm lug-to-lug wants a 6.75in wrist or better.
