Reseal and pressure test — battery included if quartz

A new case back gasket and a new crown O-ring where a standard size fits. Crystal seals are not replaced. If the test shows the crystal leaking, we tell you and quote separately.

The watch is pressure tested dry, in bar, to the rating marked on the watch. A watch with no rating marked is tested to 3 bar. A Swiss battery is fitted if the watch is quartz. A written report is returned with the watch.

The price includes a prepaid Special Delivery label to us and Special Delivery back. One watch per order.

Your label is emailed within one working day of your order. The watch is returned with its report within five working days of receipt.

Warranty: 12 months on the battery and on our workmanship. The test result records the watch's condition on the day of service. It is not a guarantee against water getting in later.

If the watch fails after new gaskets, it is returned with the report stating why and the fee stands. If we cannot open or service it safely, you get a full refund and the watch is returned on our label.

Declared value up to £750 is covered as standard. From £750 to £2,500 we add higher postal cover at no charge. Over £2,500 we decline for now: email us first.

We insure watches in our possession and in transit on our labels. Anything posted on your own label is at your risk. Every watch is photographed on arrival and the photos are sent to you the same day.

You have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, running from the day you order. Because we start as soon as your watch arrives, we ask for your consent to start now. Work done before a cancellation is charged.
