The colour on this thing. Blue dial, blue bezel, red numerals, red NATO — it’s a lot, and Farer somehow made it all work without it feeling like fancy dress. That’s what they do better than anyone at this price: take risks with colour that bigger brands would never sign off on. At 38.5mm with 45mm lug-to-lug, it wears smaller and flatter than most divers in the range — 11.9mm thick with 200m water resistance is a good trade-off. This is the Final Edition — Farer killed off the AquaMatic line, so these aren’t coming back. Sellita SW220-1 inside with day-date, same calibre family you’ll find in watches at double the money.

∙ Case: Brushed finish is intact across the whole case — no dings, no desk-diving scuffs. Looks barely worn.
∙ Crystal: Spotless. No scratches, no chips.
∙ Bezel: Insert is unmarked, 120-click action is sharp.
∙ Caseback: Sharp — wave engraving and text all crisp, no tool marks around the screws.
∙ Crown: Bronze cap in good shape, screw-down works as it should.
∙ Strap: Red NATO has minor fraying at the tail end. Farer ‘A’ buckle is fine.
