Christopher Ward discontinued Basalt Grey, which is the only reason this one is interesting. It's the darkest dial The Twelve came in — near-black indoors, grey in daylight, with the twin-flags pattern doing all the work. The calibre is Sellita SW200-1. 40mm across, 44.5mm lug-to-lug, 9.95mm thick, so it wears bigger than the 38 and needs the wrist to match. Two things worth knowing before you buy. There is dirt built up around the crown tube — you can see it in the last two photos, and I've left it as found rather than clean it and photograph it after. And this is pre-owned with no box and no papers, so without the warranty card Christopher Ward's guarantee doesn't transfer. Priced accordingly.
