OUR TAKE

This is the watch that made people take Christopher Ward seriously. A 600m diver with a ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, and a Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic — from a British independent that was quietly building credible tool watches while everyone else argued about Rolex waiting lists. The wave-textured dial is one of those details that doesn't translate well in photos but looks great in person, and the trident seconds hand is still one of the best signature touches any independent has come up with. It's a big watch — 43mm, 51.2mm lug-to-lug — so it suits a 7"+ wrist best. The clasp has picked up real wear (you can see it clearly in the photos), but the crystal and ceramic bezel are clean. This is a Mk2 from 2018, full kit. Solid value for a Swiss-made 600m diver with this much going for it.
