It is rated to 1,200m with a helium valve at 9, which is more diving than anyone buying it will do, and that is the point of it. This one is the aquamarine dial on the beads-of-rice bracelet, and the bracelet is the reason to buy it over the rubber: the clasp has a sliding diver’s extension and the links are the shape Doxa used in 1969. It went on my timegrapher at −12 s\/d, 226° amplitude and 0.0ms beat error. The ETA 2824-2 is the weakest part of the watch. Any watchmaker can service it, but it is not what you are paying just under £2,000 for from an AD, where the aquamarine has a waiting list. This one is in stock with its box and papers.
